This necklace is named after Makapu’u, one of my favorite beaches, and this necklace is one of my favorite necklaces in the collection. I specifically wanted one with a Black Pearl, and it is beautiful to wear for any beach day!

– 14k gold filled Sequin chain
– 17″ with a 1.5″ drop
– Mini Tahitian black pearl
All our pieces are 14k gold filled, which is created by pressure bonding multiple layers of solid gold with extreme heat to another metal. This strictly regulated process requires each piece of jewelry to have at least 1/20 solid gold by weight. Gold filled has the same desirable properties and look of solid gold: it won’t tarnish, and wearers who are sensitive to certain metals can wear gold filled jewelry without worries of an allergic reaction. Wear for a fun night out or in the water ~ just make sure to rinse off the salt after! Gold filled jewelry is not to be mistaken for gold plated jewelry.
